My name is Carlos Abarca and I am currently a student attending George Mason University double majoring in accounting and IT. Throughout my life I played basketball, soccer and football from an early age. In high school I continued with my basketball career as the starting point guard from my sophomore to senior year. Starting in my senior year, my passion led me to mentoring and coaching the underclasses. I graduated high school with a 4.1 GPA and presented with Spire Academy’s All Around Award which represented Scholarship, Performance, Inclusion, Resiliency and Empathy (SPIRE). Although I couldn’t continue my basketball career in college, I have chosen to stay engaged with sports by coaching the younger generations who share the same passion for their sports as I did when I was younger and still do now.
