Kayla has always considered movement an essential aspect of her life, as she believes staying active positively enhances your overall well-being. After experiencing a significant foot injury, her doctor advised her to engage in low-impact exercises to gradually reintroduce movement. She discovered a nearby yoga studio and began attending classes regularly to restore her strength and mobility. Practicing yoga not only supported her recovery but also provided her with a sense of empowerment and equipped her with techniques for practicing mindfulness. In 2019, Kayla completed her 200-hour teacher training to inspire others and recreate the transformative experience she gained through her practice. She aims to create safe spaces for students to move authentically and connect meaningfully with their practice and community. Outside of the studio, Kayla enjoys exploring new adventures with her pup by her side.
